Next week (26th July) is Soup Day - we will have lunch together after Meeting. A main dish will be provided and is always vegan and gluten free. Bring something to share if you want to, but everyone is welcome.
28th July is our Meeting for Worship for Business, 7:30 on Zoom, all are welcome.
29th July there will be a Zoom gathering to discuss how Quakers in London will work practically as an Area Meeting. We have been asked for someone to attend to represent each Local Meeting. 8:00 - 10:00pm.
4th July is London Pride, Quaker Rainbow would like LGBTQ+ people and allies to join the parade. This involves meeting at 2pm and marching until around 4:30. To join the group, email Juno at aom@quaker-rainbow.org.uk
Woodbrooke will run the next Equipping for Ministry programme from December 2026 - December 2028. Applications begin in July 2026.
As a Local Meeting we want to wise up about gender diversity and recognise that this is a long journey that begins with the first step. Everyone is starting from where they are; it is important not to require prior knowledge. We can ask each other questions; mistakes are expected; respect and listening are essential. We may wish to work with an outside facilitator in future but have expertise and resource within the Meeting to start with. We will be on this journey with our Friends in North-East Thames Area meeting and beyond. For Walthamstow, the first step will be our rescheduled Meeting for Learning on Sunday 5th July from 12:00 until 1:00.

2nd August Bethnal Green Meeting are hosting their second annual Queer Quaker Pride Picnic, 12:30-4ish, in Victoria Park near the pavilion.

16th June and fortnightly - Outdoor Meetings for Worship in Victoria Park on Tuesday evenings, hosted by Bethnal Green Meeting, fortnightly until 25th August. Next on Tuesday 16 June. 7:00-8:30pm, for 45 mins of worship and 45 mins of tea and conversation.

4th July - Quaker Asylum and Refugee Network AGM
